![]() Different people like different razors and it really is a personal preference. I always tell our customers that there is no right or wrong when picking a razor. I guess that conversation is what planted the seed. I couldn’t convince him to go with a double edge safety razor. He found his vintage injector razor less intimidating than a double edge razor and he liked the lighter weight and the overall shave. He explained to me that his favorite razor was his old injector razor and he was having a hard time finding blades (not to mention that the razor could not easily be replaced). Timely response from you as well - I shaved my head today with a Gillette Black Beauty with a Voskhod and was just standing here thinking I should go over it again tomorrow with the Schick. If I can get half a dozen or more shaves I will be rocking the Schick regularly. Even if I get 4 or 5 good shaves out of a blade I told myself I'd be happy with that given the excellent shave and then I typically get a few head shaves out of a blade after I deem it no longer satisfactory for my face. Until I make a larger purchase (likely 200 blades from Connaught unless I find somewhere closer to home with as good a price) the blade are a buck a blade.
